Clinics
We offer a three-day, hands-on, pack clinic for all experience levels. Chris has a unique way of being able to match up where you are in your packing abilities. The great thing about our clinic is that you are able to bring your own stock and gear so you get your experience with your stuff. We also limit our clinics to 6 participants so everyone gets plenty of one-on-one time. There is not a strict schedule so he can be fluid in adjusting to the group's needs.
Some of the things that will be covered in a clinic are:

Proper saddle & britchen placement

Weighing & balancing loads

Tying the box hitch (will show other hitches depending on experience level)

Adjusting riding tack as needed

Pointers on leading your pack animal

If time, and experience, allow, we pack up and go for a ride to test it all
If you don’t have your own pack animal, we have gentle stock for you to learn on.
